Just trying to join Miss Delores Bega what year yeah just here but I know I can see her I present to you and miss Emily Canada thank you can we transition to the approval of meeting records from our last meeting restore mean Buick Regal thank you is there a ocean 2 approved the minutes this is Emily Canelo and I can pay for it the motion to approve the minutes from was it March 28th March 28th 2023 I'll second the motion to approve 28 million records Yelp thank you all in favor any opposed thank you we can continue with a minute babe thank you so much for old business we have some lpac updates and predicted outcomes I'm going to be sharing my screen if that's alright can I get access to share now you call me thank you I have a mold business and business together on the same deck so I'm just going to skip ahead for a second all right so old business like I were discussing I'll pack data so on your screen here you'll see our help at completion data for Valera Middle Academy there were a total of 78 English Learners who needed to be assessed with the summit of El Pas of that 75 complete listening 72 completed the Run section 72 completed the writing section and 74 completed speaking section so we have a range of about 92 to 96% complete for Valera Middle Academy for marine High School a total of 76 English Learners who needed to be assessed out of the 76 all 76 students did take the L POC so we were able to get to 100% completion there and test all of our students today was the date of the window closed for the old park so with that being said the data is slowly coming in we don't have any official results for today all students right now that we can share out with families we do have overall headlines of friends that we're seeing about what percentage of students are hitting A1 A2 A3 and A4 so I'm going to be sharing that data all of you now Mr call son was unable to attend today so I'll be sharing for both Bellaire Middle Academy at Murray in high school so again these are overall Trends more concrete and specific data per student will be released as we get closer to Summer or 6th grade you'll see that 60% of students hit a level 3 as a reminder students do need a level 4 as part of the Pacific criteria no students did receive that level four but we were really impressed with what large percentage of students are at a level 3 this is telling us that we have a really strong foundational yell program with her 6th graders and. They have made huge gains at our table hopefully to reclassify moving forward but the bottom here we see that distribution of the different domains of listening speaking reading and writing I can see. The biggest growth area is here in our reading section from where 87% of students are still beginning to develop their for seventh grade we still have 41 cent of students got a level 3 we did have 10% at 11:04 on 29% of the level to 20% and a level 1 the data is not yet ready for our 7th grade / domain I don't have a lot to share with all of you yet. We're waiting on the state to finalize the scores and then for eighth grade we do see that 36% of students did receive a at 11 for this is huge really proud of these students on this means that they have met that part of the criteria for reclassification I get it doesn't guarantee but we are really proud of students porridge leaving this level on the alpaca 28% are two level three 20% of the level 2 and 16% in a level one we can see here that our strongest domains the bottom in 8th grade are not speaking 76% of 3 we're able to be at level for speaking and Then followed by listening at 72% they're so huge shout out to artioli program in the in the mid moving into high school for grade 9 we see that majority of our students are sitting at a level 2 since 54% of our 9th graders are Level to 23% on a level 3 and 9%. that level for similarly to what we saw in 8th grade a large majority of strength is in not speaking so we're noticing that we do have strong beginning in our Upper Grade levels I just noticed that I haven't pause to translate do we need any translation for this meeting I think we were okay until right now I do see Miss Ophelia Sunday and coming in and also Miss suleyma Perez just came in okay translation so again similar to kind of where we saw in sixth grade reading is the area of need and growth that we have with our 9th graders about 59% of students are beginning to develop and not reading area I'll be more convenient osml re-elected and then for 10th grade we see that 45% of our 10th graders are at 11:01 which is a large majority so we do once we are able to get more free data from the state at that broken down into individual student level we would love to look in there and kind of see what's going on there I do know that this year we did receive a few students from outside of the US who are new to the US and speak with little to no English and they both are in the tenth grade so it.
