Where are you located de la piscina porque Las personas en la piscina necesita ayuda con comida con Los examenes de covid-19 supervision Wella so this office is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. so any times outside of those hours our office will be closed Venus de abierta para la piscina stop Sarah but I know that's a personal mention mention and then we'll go to the next slide we are making an adjustment for middle school for our Monday schedule as well as our Tuesday through Friday schedule so assembled in North Aurora radio cbs.n permission to receive in Messenger on the nutrition is Ambien an acceptable Grotto of David Gray. separamos Estes or adios Mass Durante el dia de ciencias sociales en Los paseos and lampie tambien te fueras and L so one of the things that we made some changes on so as you know we're continuously trying to improve our our practices to make sure that our students and our staff and families are say so one of the things that we made a change on is the time for Middle School lunch nutrition and lunch so we are now separating 6th and 7th grade from 8th grade to have more time and more space in the hallways in the air in the multipurpose room as well as our courts are outdoor recreation spaced so this is just our way of providing more distancing and and space for all of our middle school students so it's gonna is some gum I guess you must tell you that the big thing though is that the schedule to start the day and the day will remain the same. radio para entrar a la Escuela en el horario de misa's dslrs Emilio Estevez no necesitan cambiar nada nothing changes our students will still come to school today you can drop off at your normal time and our students will still be dismissed at 3:15 you can pick up at your normal time and all of our bus routes will remain the same on the schedule but this is our way as we continue to navigate covid making sure our students and families are safe cuz you want to make sure where we're at our personal best as you go through each day thank you. yeah so and and again like we are really working and make sure that our students and our family to stay and so we're continuing to make changes make adjustments like you saw it with our covid testing we're adding more and more capacity for covid testing and each week we've been testing more and more stuff I am working to get to 100% And so now I will pass it to mr. calls down with a few updates before we close out and give you the agenda for the for the back to school night alright thank you very much mr. pianko I know Miss Nate is going to be moving some of the slides over just real quickly just want to give you a couple updates about as we're getting ready for college which is what our big goal is so here in Alliance our goal is to get your students to and through college it is one thing to make sure that they get enrolled somewhere it's a whole nother thing to try to ensure that they start college and finish college in the truth is that requires a lot of practice of academic skills both at school and at home and that's why our parents are such important partners with us in this work I'm as your students will full bottom lots of times college is a competition so being on grade level isn't good enough when when we apply to college the college doesn't just check to see if we were at 11th grade level is a check to see if we were some of the best before they they accept and so a priority one is about keeping our students safe priority 3 is about teaching and learning and we're trying to maximize that even as we try to to balance our our work on being safe so we go to the next slide what are some of the ways that were work well you can't be ready without reading and so all of our students have two goals goal number one is one book per month that adds up to about 400,000 worth over the course of the year if the books are 200 pages and about 200 words are on each page I feel like I stopped for a quick second class set a lot and I don't know if I should try to translate. Or can we promote the silver bus with us I'll go ahead and stay and then maybe we'll have time but that's how that's our first goal is 10 books in the for those that are going after a being College ready we have a second goal which is 1 million words in the year that's for students that are saying to themselves I really want to push to be ready for college or if they noticed that maybe they're not on grade now but they want to get the gray bubble as soon as possible that's our goal for them as well and so we will be giving this information to you on the weekly ready reviews are your students will be taking quizzes as they finish books and so you'll have an update on that if you're I'm sure you can contact me so we can go to the next slide So reading really prepares you for college and in fact we go to the next slide I think I'll talk to just briefly about Matt all of our students have access to i-Ready math lessons at home and all of our students have taken the test so that means that they can also do personalized math lessons at home to grow at their own pace and that's something that all students have access to so extra reading XtraMath practice if you have any questions about any of this or if you need any assistance you can contact me so we go to the next slide if you're not sure about your students level or you're not sure what they should be reading or you're having any trouble in that process you can reach out to me you can text me at 747-200-5932 or you can email me if you call Zona La alliance.org all students grow when they practice more and practice better and we are trying to maximize that both at school and with your help and partnership at home so please reach out to us if you have any concerns or questions about that thank you mr.
