Mr. Carlstone shares simple tips on how to support your scholar(s) from home to help them improve their reading levels.Scholars who read independently have greater reading comprehension, verbal fluency and general knowledge than those who do not. They benefit by becoming better readers, score higher on achievement tests in all subject areas, and have greater content knowledge than their non-reading peers.
The DOR offers job exploration services for students with IEPs/504 Plans who are 16 years of age and older and when students turn 18, they offer a great amount of support with navigating education and career after high school, including a lot of financial support.
